The Beginning
Lumière was founded in 2010 by renowned restaurateur Michel Laurent with a vision to create a dining experience that celebrates the art of gastronomy. The name "Lumière," meaning "light" in French, represents our philosophy of illuminating culinary traditions with modern innovation.


First Michelin Star
In 2015, just five years after opening, Lumière was awarded its first Michelin star. This recognition validated our commitment to culinary excellence and our innovative approach to fine dining. It was a pivotal moment that put us on the global gastronomic map.
Chef Hemant Joins
In 2018, Chef Hemant Sharma joined Lumière as Executive Chef, bringing with him over two decades of experience from Michelin-starred kitchens across India and Europe. His unique culinary vision, blending classical techniques with modern innovation, has elevated our menu to new heights.


The Renovation
In 2022, we underwent a major renovation to create a more immersive dining environment. The redesign focused on creating intimate spaces while maintaining an open, airy atmosphere. Natural materials, subtle lighting, and acoustic enhancements all contribute to the multisensory experience we offer today.
